These works are fragments from elsewhere. Architectural echoes stitched from places I’ve wandered through, each touched by a quiet sense of disillusion. I collect surfaces, the grain of a wall, the rhythm of a corridor, the angle of a fading shadow, and the portrait of an aging monument. Layered into collage, they dissolve into one liminal terrain; a georgraphy of memory rather than reality. Over this, figures that are sketched either interrupt or harmonise creating spectres of emotion, shaped by what I felt but could not say in those moments. Part place, part feeling, part dream.
